Amy Hoeffel, Residency Program Manager at Kettering Medical Center, has been certified by the Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education.  Amy is the very FIRST in the nation to receive TAGME certification for Transitional Year program administrators.  Way to go, Amy!

Angeli Naya, M.D.and Blake Elkins, M.D. (both 3rd year residents from WSU Emergency Medicine) took first place in the Army/Air Force abstract competition.  They will both proceed to the national competition.  Kudos!

Brian Springer, M.D., a faculty member in WSU Emergency Medicine was recognized by the Attorney General's office for saving a life during a SWAT team training exercise.

The WSU Pediatric Residency Program was granted a five-year accreditation review cycle from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.  That is the maximum cycle length awarded.  Congratulations!
